Twill is the second-most-common weave structure. Twills can be fairly mundane as with a straight twill, or range through point, broken, uneven twills all the way up to Rosepath and Bird’s Eye. You will be using a pickup stick to explore this popular method while you make lavender sachet.
You should know how to warp your loom. It would be handy of you have taken the pick up stick class.
You will need a loom at least 10-inches wide with a 7.5-dent heddle (Looms are available to rent at $25 per week from HOKC on a first-come-first-served basis).
One or two pickup sticks.
Recommended yarns: 50 yards each of Worsted-weight yarns in 3 or more colors. (Varigated yarns are not recommended.)
