Sewing Handwoven Fabrics, Part 2
This is the second part of Sewing Handwovens. It is a hands-on class where you can prepare your handwoven fabric for cutting and sewing a garment. You will be using the techniques for handling an easily-frayed fabric from Part 1 of the class.
Materials Included:
Spray starch, fusible interfacings, fusible thread
Requirements:
You will need enough handwoven fabric for the sewing pattern you previously chose. Any fiber, any weave structure, any colors. Bring sewing scissors labeled with your name.
Additional Information:
Sewing machines and irons will be used. If you have any you can bring, please do so.
