Weaving Twills

Twill is the second-most-common weave structure. Twills can be fairly mundane as with a straight twill, or range through point, broken, uneven twills all the way up to Rosepath and Bird’s Eye. You will be using a pickup stick to explore this popular method while you make lavender sachet.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: You should know how to warp your loom. It would be handy of you have taken the pick up stick class.
Requirements: You will need a loom at least 10-inches wide with a 7.5-dent heddle (Looms are available to rent at $25 per week from HOKC on a first-come-first-served basis). One or two pickup sticks. Recommended yarns: 50 yards each of Worsted-weight yarns in 3 or more colors. (Varigated yarns are not recommended.)
