When 3 = 4: 4 Shaft weaving on a Rigid Heddle Loom

There are so many fabulous 4-harness patterns that are easy to find. While they can be woven on a rigid heddle loom using pickup sticks, it is so much faster to let the loom do the work. This class will show you how to set up your loom and enjoy the incredible garden of 4-harness patterns for an entire project, rather than just as embellishment. And without using pickup sticks.

Please consult with Peggy prior to the class about what your loom needs to accommodate 3 heddles.

Recommended yarns: 50 yards each of 2 or more colors of fingering-weight yarns. (Varigated yarns are not recommended.)

Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: You should be comfortable with warping and it would be helpful if you have worked with double heddles on your loom.
Requirements: You will need a loom at least 10-inches wide with THREE 7.5-dent heddle (Looms are available to rent at $25 per week from HOKC on a first-come-first-served basis). You will need at least 2 shuttles.
