About Us
Since we opened in July 16, 2011, we have had the goal of being the best source of knitting information and supplies in the Inland Empire. We have since broadened our interests to include crochet, spinning, and weaving. The store is owned by nine amazing women with varied backgrounds. We all have in common a love of fiber and the friendships that come with the fiber community.
The store carries a broad selection of yarns and accessories and has a large table for sitting and working on your projects. We help for free at the table all hours we are open! Come for hours or minutes, for help or company -- just enjoy. Stop in and take a class, get help on a project, or just sit and knit with friends. We look forward to seeing you again and again.
The Partners
Molly Conroy-Ungerecht
Co-Owner
Molly is one of HOKC’s intrepid senior partners and a force to be reckoned with. She started her knitting journey in July 2007 and hasn’t slowed down since. Molly’s favorite projects to knit are anything she can start. Finishing projects is the hard part for her (She is also very hard on herself!!). In addition to knitting, Molly is also proficient in spinning and weaving and dabbles in a bit of crochet. Molly's childhood pet name was "mouse", as she never talked! Before entering the knitting world, Molly worked in retail and training. If Molly could change anything, she would make chocolate a weight loss miracle. I think we can all get on board with that!
