Loopy Crocheted Neck Muff with Gina Carlson on Zoom
This class will produce a fun loopy, crocheted, neck muff to wear during the
cool weather setting. This scarf will provide lovely warmth around the neck with loopy fringe that
will create a little wearable art accessory. Not only is this a fun project that uses basic crochet
stitching to create fabric and minimal shaping, but it will work up quickly. This project is crocheted
flat and then seamed together. The neck muff will also have a few closure options to ensure that your
scarf stays in place.
Class will be in 2 segments: January 23, 11-1; January 30, 11-1.
Pattern is included with cost of class. Gina will offer a one hour follow up session at no charge February 7, 2021 @ 12:00p.m.

| Skill Details: | Student should be able to create the initial chain to begin the crochet project. The crocheter should be able to single crochet (SC), half double crochet (HDC), increases and decreases. Although instructor will assist with these as needed if people need assistance. |

| Instructor Bio: | I learned to crochet from my aunt when I was 7 years old. I have always loved design, art and making, no matter what the medium. I eventually owned a yarn store with my mother. Over ten years ago, I designed accessories that were accepted into Crochet Magazine for a Jacket and a skirt. I also designed a hat that made the cover of a crochet book. My desire to create handmade pieces opened the door to supply stores like Henri Bendel?s in New York and high-end boutiques across the country. My soul still loves to create and fiber is one of my favorite mediums. I have been helping my mother to recreate new possibilities for her yarn store with social distancing. So, my love of fashion and passion for yarn has been reignited during our national crisis. The universe has me where I am supposed to be. Creating~ |
