Satis Shawl Crochet Class on Zoom

A picture is worth a thousand words...

We're so happy to have Rachael Reichman back to teach another crochet class!  Make a beautiful asymmetrical triangular lace shawl using simple crochet stitches and techniques. Students will learn increasing in crochet to shape, how to use chain spaces, and crochet-as-you-go borders. The Satis Shawl Pattern by Janica York Carter may be purchased for $5 at: 

19 stitches and 18 rows = 4 inches in single crochet
Gauge is not crucial to this project, but may affect yardage and size.
880 yards (805 m)

Yarn recommendations: 2 skeins of SeaSilk Lace; 2 skeins Bamboo Pop Sock; 2 skeins Cotton Fine; 3 skeins of Cestari Monticello.

Hook size: US size ​​I-9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook or any hook size that is appropriate for the yarn selected. Refer to the tag/label for recommended hook sizes.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Beginner: This pattern is for those crocheters who are ready to try simple lace. Skills/concepts include increases and chain spaces.
