This is one of Peggy's favorites for a gift that looks fancy, but is very simple to weave. Houndstooth is a type of plaid; that is, stripes in the warp and stripes in the weft. You will weave a lovely two-color scarf; precious to give as a gift or charming to wear yourself.
List of Required Materials:
You will need a loom at least 10-inches wide, a 7.5-dent heddle, and two colors of worsted weight yarn (1 skein light, 1 skein dark).
Recommendation: Berroco Vintage (Worsted Weight) 1 Skein of each color in the following color schemes:
"Got the Blues" = 5187 Dungaree and 5113 Misty
"Honey" = 5122 Banana and 5103 Mocha
"At the Beach" = 5112 Minty and 5163 Caribbean Sea
"Blushes" = 51176 Fuschisa and 5110 Fondant
