You will warp your loom for a scarf and learn several different techniques for using Pick Up sticks that will create a fancy scarf for yourself or to give as a gift.
You will need a loom and yarn for this course. Looms may be rented from HOKC for $25 per week and the rentals must be arranged in advance as supplies are limited
Yarn Kit: Suggested Bamboo Pop (DK-Weight) 1 Skein of each color
109 Clover, 121 Lily Pad, & 113 Sunny
134 Blue Whisper,107 Ocean, & 153 Fushia
115 Silken, 138 Quartz, & 104 Rose

| Skill Details: | You will need to know how to warp your loom, either direct warping or indirect warping. |
| Requirements: | 10-inch or larger loom with 10-dent heddle, Sleying (threading) hook, the usual tools (scissors, yarn needle, measure, etc.) A loom with a 10-dent heddle is needed, along with 2 Pick Up sticks. DK-weight yarn in three colors is recommended. |
