Weave two layers of cloth at the same time on your Rigid Heddle. You will be weaving two layers that will open up to make one layer that is twice the width of the piece on the loom This technique can also be used to make a project that is two separate layers at the same time, or a tube of fabric (like knitting in the round).
This class uses two heddles of the same dent, and two pickup sticks. You need to be comfortable with both these techniques.

Yarn Kit: Suggested Bamboo Pop (DK-Weight) 1 Skein of each color
109 Clover & 121 Lily Pad
134 Blue Whisper & 107 Ocean
115 Silken & 138 Quartz
Choose two colors of DK-weight yarn.
You will need a loom and yarn for this course. Looms may be rented from HOKC for $25 per week and the rentals must be arranged in advance as supplies are limited

Requirements: | You will need a loom at least 10-inches wide with TWO 7.5-dent Heddles, and TWO Pick Up Sticks (the sticks should be as long as the heddle is wide), and the Yarn Kit from HOKC. Sleying (threading) hook, the usual tools (scissors, yarn needle, measure, etc.). |
