Reading and Understanding Weaving Patterns on Zoom

Learn to Read and Understand Weaving patterns with Molly and Diane.  You will be following pattern #22 of Rigid Heddle Weaving Basics and Beyond by Deborah Jarchow.

This is a two part class held August 31st and September 28th from 2-5 p.m. pst.  Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants.

Part One you'll learn the read, understand and follow a weaving pattern.
Part Two you will learn to felt.

Each student must own their own copy of Deborah Jarchow's book Rigid Heddle Weaving Basics and Beyond.  Book is available at the above link.  You must have a Rigid Heddle Loom at least 12" wide and know how to warp.

While you are not required to purchase a kit, please note the types of yarn.  You need approximately 400 yds of a worsted weight plant based yarn and approximately 400 yds of a non-superwash fingering weight yarn.  You also need a loom with a 7.5 or 8 dent heddle and loom at least 12" wide.
