Knit for Food Knit-A-Thon
Knit for Food Knit-a-thon is a 12 hour knitting marathon to raise funds and awareness for food insecurity. The money we raise will be equally divided between Feeding America, World Central Kitchen, No Kid Hungry, and Meals on Wheels.
In 2021 knitters raised $265,810!!
In 2022 knitters raised $271,761!!
That means knitters raised over half a million dollars with our knitting needles!! Can you even believe that?!
There are two ways to support the Knit-a-thon: You can solicit a few sponsors and then join Team Hands On Knitting Center to knit/craft for 12 hours on March 26th from 10AM to 10PM. Collect your pledges and use the donate link to enter them. OR if you can’t join us in person, you can simply donate to our team using the donate link.
