YARNIVAL: Intro to Landscape Embroidery on Zoom
Join Rosanna Diggs on Zoom to learn the basics of Landscape Embroidery. We will use her lovely kit, "Orcas" to learn many stitches used in landscape embroidery. The price of the class includes the kit which has all the required materials. The class is taught via Zoom and will be recorded. Students will have access for 30 days.
This is a beginning class you do not need previous embroidery experience. The kit has everything you need except a pair of scissors. The kit will be mailed to you unless you are local.
Syllabus:
Introduction
Open Your Kit, pick your patterns & fabric
Transfer Patterns (we need bright windows or lightboxes/illuminated screens)
Thread Your Needle
Variety of embroidery stitches
Finishing Your Hoop/Whip Stitch
Clean up
