Staycation: Flax KAL on Zoom

This Memorial Day we are excited to be doing Flax for our Staycation KAL/knitting party.  This is a wonderful sweater that is perfect for everyone from a grandchild to a grandparent and all of us inbetween. This pullover sweater is top down construction and at least 2 of us partners are planning on steeking it to make a cardigan.

There is a wonderful App that helps with the entire process (Gretchen swears by it) but if you want to go old school Roxanne has you covered. She is a wealth of information on creating a great fitting sweater that you'll be really happy with..

Tincanknits has designed the pattern in sock, DK, and worsted weight - so ... skys the limit! 

Do a gauge - find a fabric you like and you're all set. This sweater design is good for stripes, solid, color blocking and of course solid..

Roxanne is using Manos Del Uruguay Maxima held with a strand of Silkair for the worsted/ aran version,

Lisa is using Chaski held with a strand of Setasuri for the DK version,
