Fall is in the air... Summer is coming to a close... so it is time for the final Summer Sweater Series! This is a free KAL that spans a long weekend - we will do our best to knit most of it in one weekend! This is a Zoom event.

The KAL is free and you are not required to buy yarn from us to participate - although we are happy to help you justify collecting more yarn!
Top down knitting is so easy - but the goal of having neat, set in sleeves has been a challenge. Elizabeth Doherty came up with a really nice system for solving it. We will knit her pattern Clarendon which can be purchased on Ravelry or is in her book Top Down: Reimagining Set in Sleeves. The book is a little challenging to get in hard copy but you can get a digital copy here.
You need:
Your own copy of the pattern or book.
Aran Weight yarn - would recommend Cool Merino Big, Coastline, Vintage, Alegria Grande, or Saxony. Aran is a heavy worsted.
You need a lot of needles: 10.5, 10, 9 and 8 in a variety of sizes. Make sure they are all the same material.
Purl Strings
Ring and Locking markers - if you need markers try the Flight of Markers from CocoKnits.
The sessions will be recorded and linked to this page.
