Selfish Knitting KAL 2023
The holidays are over - phew! Now it is time to knit something just for you. While we are recommending Mistral by Emily Greene as the sweater for this week, we actually don't care what you knit! We never require you to purchase the yarn from us for a KAL, but, if you need yarn and do buy it from us, we will buy the pattern for you. You can either add the name of the pattern in notes along with your Ravelry Name or call the shop. 909.793.8712
Mistral uses a DK weight yarn. You can make a short sleeved version out of Remix Light or Renew and have a great summer top (or a long sleeve version). For a super yummy wool, try Vivacious DK or Seal Rock. Vintage DK is always a great value solution.
Mistral is knit in pieces and seamed. The joy of a seamed sweater is that it is fast to knit and the seams add stability. If you hate seaming, remember that Roxy offers finishing services!
We will meet for an hour a day on Zoom - noon pacific time. We may record the sessions if there is a lot of instruction. But if it ends up mostly chit chat we won't.
