Yarnival - Felted Dryer Balls in person with Brigid
Felting is the process by which wool fibers bind to one another. In this class we will take advantage of the affinity for wool to bind together when subjected to specially designed needles, water, and heat. We will take plain white pre-made dyer balls, and use colored roving and pure wool to make happy, colorful, and useful items.
This is a hands on class where you might get a little wet, but you'll have lots of fun and be able to explore the energy of color as you apply designs.

| Skill Details: | No special skills are required. Students should bring a curious and creative spirit to the class. Be prepared to make your own design. |
| Requirements: | Students should wear clothes that can get wet as we will be working with warm soapy water to facilitate the felt. Feel free to bring any roving or non-superwash wool that you love and want to use on your dryer ball, but a selection of appropriate materials will be provided. Bring a beach towel that you can work on. |
