Techniques for Sewing Handwoven Fabric with Peggy
This is a hands-on class where you can prepare your handwoven fabric for cutting and sewing. You will be making a designer pillow cover from your handwovens as you learn techniques for handling an easily-frayed fabric.
You will need to have woven your fabric before the class. You will need handwoven fabric at least 13 inches by 25 inches. Bring sewing scissors labeled with your name. Any fiber, any weave structure, any colors.
No loom is needed for this class. However, bring the usual tools (scissors, yarn needle, measure, etc.)
Sewing machines and irons will be used. If you have any you can bring, please do so.
Part 2 will take place in January.
