Tiny Felted Balls with Brigid
In this class we will turn wool roving and wool yarn into beautiful small felted balls. These balls can be strung together to make a necklace or bracelet, a garland, or can be sewn together to make a coaster or trivet.
Students need to bring roving and wool yarn (make sure the wool is not superwash or it will not felt) to class - we have loads of options at the shop! I will supply the soap and wash tubs which we will use in the felting process.
Skill Level: | Beginner |
Skill Details: | Students should wear clothes that can get wet as we will be working with warm soapy water to facilitate the felt. |
Requirements: | Bring at least 4 ounces of roving to class and 100% wool yarn - be sure that it is NOT superwash wool. Also bring a beach towel that you can work on. |
