Two at a Time Socks with Molly
If you suffer from second sock syndrome, or struggle to get your socks to match, this is the class for you. We use the magic loop technique of knitting the two socks on one 32" or 40" circular needle. The first class covers the cast on and getting used to knitting in the round with the new technique. Once you understand the concept, it is hard to go wrong! Molly gives you a different heel to use and shows you how to replace this heel in any sock pattern.
We use Tin Can Knit's Pattern, Rye to learn this process. Please download the FREE pattern before class.
We work this first pair of two at a time socks on worsted weight yarn and size US 5 needles! Or size needed to get gauge.
You will need:
The pattern
One or two skein(s) of Vintage or Alegria Grande (two skeins if you want taller socks). If you choose to use two skeins, you can choose a second color for heels and toes - or try a Bocados.
US5 needles 40" cable - I do not change sizes as the pattern suggests
