Weave a 3-Shaft, 2-Heddle Twill Scarf with Peggy on Zoom

Classification: Technique
Weave Structure: Twill
Project: Mug Rugs (Coasters)

You will be threading 2 heddles of the same dent to weave mug rugs. The weave structure is a 3-Shaft twill. You will use an indirect warping method. I will provide the yarn for a provisional warp.

If you wish, you may measure off the project warp ahead of time. Use the color from the kit that you want to have LESS prominent. You will need 66 ends that are 1 yard (or 36 inches) long.

The first part of the class will be focused on the provisional warp, followed by attaching and threading the project warp.

If you have questions, please contact the instructor.

List of Required Materials:

You will need a loom and yarn for this course. Looms may be rented from HOKC for $25 per week and the rentals must be arranged in advance as supplies are limited.
