Make a reusable shopping bag, or use it for going to the beach. This is a great way to try out knitting with cotton if you haven't done it before. In the first class you'll learn how to do a provisional cast on and how to pick up stitches to start working the bag in the round, and in the second class we'll do the I-cord bind off at the top and with the handle (with an I-cord edge!)
