Sequence Along 2022

Spend 4 weeks with Nancy Lekx on Zoom as she leads us through an exploration of sequence knitting.

Sequence knitting takes very simple repeats, that would normally make us think of ribbing, and creates oodles of fabrics by just tweaking the number of stitches in the project.  A k1, p1 sequence worked over an even number of stitches gives you a super stretchy ribbing - but add an extra stitch to your project and you have seed stitch.

We will make three wash cloths out of worsted weight cotton while we explore these techniques.  It is free to join the MAL but you will need to purchase Nancy's pattern here.  The pattern will contain all three washcloths with weekly updates.

We recommend Pima 100 for the MAL - this is a lovely worsted weight cotton perfect for wash cloths and delightful to work with.  Click here for a kit of yarns for the class - the kit reflects a price of buy 2 get one free for the three yarns.

There?s a Fall Fair with displays of all sorts, and a great craft show in December where the fee for a vendor table is $25.00 and two dozen cookies for the charity bake sale! COVID interrupted these events, and everyone is looking forward to being able to gather together at them again soon. Nancy knits interesting stitches into simple shapes, and her patterns have been published in Interweave Knits, Knitscene, and A Needle Pulling Thread magazines, and by various yarn companies.
