Design a Woven Poncho with Deborah Jarchow on Zoom

Have you made lots of scarves and table runners and now are ready to make a garment?  Even if you have a narrow loom, garments are well within your possibilities.  In this workshop you’ll learn different ways to turn those rectangles into a stunning poncho, ruana or twisted shawl that will dazzle your friends.  These are all easy to wear pieces that turn your woven fabric into a glamorous wrap good for any event.  We will talk about beautiful yarns that work well together (or not!), how to weave the fabric on either a narrow or wide loom, garment construction, and more.  Deborah will help you see the possibilities of what you can create!
