Summer Sweater Series

A new series begins today!

This is a very detailed class that will walk you through all of the math involved in changing a pattern from wool, Aran weight to cotton/linen DK or Sport. You will learn where you can easily make adjustments and the trickier bits. You need to have a sense of adventure and a willingness to rip!

Tips for New Knitters

This class is designed for new knitters who know how to knit and purl but still are lost when people talk about weights of yarn, different needles, the new language of a pattern, or how to fix a simple mistake.

There is homework for this class!

Summer Series:

Front Shoulders

For those already working on the Summer Sweater Series, this class walks you through: picking up and knitting stitches, short rows, and how to calculate underarms (just like for the back).

Beginning Knitting

Have you always wanted to learn to knit -- or have a friend who wants to? Come join our beginning knitting class! You will learn to cast on and the knit stitch in this class.

Beaded Bracelet

We are so excited to have Sharon back teaching!! This is a fast and fun project -- and makes a perfect gift for you or others.

Trunk Show: July 12 - 15

Beautiful handcrafted items from India in them most gorgeous fabrics! If you have some non-knitters in your life (imagine) this is a great way to pick up some early gifts -- we will have bags, throws, and diaries.

Wednesday the 12th we will have a LulaRoe rep here with fun, wearable fashions. Come check them out!!

Summer PJ Party

Always a favorite! Our Anniversary Summer PJ Party is July 15th from 6 to midnight. This is a potluck so grab your jammies, your knitting, and grub, and join the party. Throw an extra chair in your car just in case...

To help encourage you to get a bunch of gifts knitted up early we are going to have several chances for prizes. You will receive a raffle ticket for each "challenge" you complete. We will draw prizes at the Summer Party and at the end of the month. We will also have a few spontaneous prizes...
