Today is the last day for the Alpaca yarn!
It is so soft you think you are petting cashmere - but at a fraction of the price.
We have locally raised and locally milled alpaca yarns. These amazingly yummy, undyed yarns are so soft and lovely!!
We will also have fiber for spinning.
One Week left to save
20% off on Knots of Love approved Yarns.
We are still making and collecting Chemo Caps!
This mission became all the more real and important to us as Molly was just diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer
and will be starting chemo soon.
Stitches SoCal!
A very heartfelt "Thank you!" to Briana for creating this ad and so much more! If you need graphic design work we would be more than happy to get you in touch with Briana.
We are super excited, and only slightly terrified, to have our very first booth at Stitches!
Stitches is an amazing event with a huge market place, tons of classes, free demos, fashion shows, PJ parties, and knitters/crocheters everywhere!! If you have never attended one of these events this is the time! This is Stitches very first SoCal event.
We will have tons of new yarn! You can find Manos' Serpentina, Franca, Milo, and Serena for the first time! We will have the anniversary color, Cincuenta, in every base. We have loads of Wooladdicts and some Theodora's Pearls coming in. There will be tons of kits to choose from!
Stop in and pick up a $3.00 off coupon for market place tickets.
Save the Date!
7th Annual Artisan Faire
November 17th
10:00 am to 5:00 pm
We have over 20 vendors confirmed!
PJ Party December 8th
Contest
We do a contest every year - and it gets competitive! There is a prize for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!
No holds barred Ornament Contest!
It just has to be hand made by you and made out of fiber. It does not have to be an original design. Bring it with you to the party or drop it off the day before if you cannot attend the party or will be late.
Classes October 22 - 31
Optics Cowl
with Sharon
Learn to knit two color stranded knitting while making this amazing, graphic cowl.
Sharon will teach you to work two colors per round holding one color in each hand. This speeds up the process and greatly reduces yarn twisting!
Prerequisites: Must be able to knit, purl, and bind off. It is helpful if you are comfortable knitting in the round.
Homework must be completed before class!
Ripsmatta Weaving
With Peggy
Learn the Scandinavian art of Ripsmatta weaving with Peggy. Create beautiful shadow weaving just by changing the order of colors in your warp and weft.
In class you will make 2 place mats.
You should already know how to weave for this class. You will need a loom and yarn. We do have looms for rent but please arrange a renal in advance as quantities are limited.
