I designed this hat to be the first hat a new knitter makes. But it is such a great basic, more advanced knitters have enjoyed it. It is a bit like potato chips - you cannot make just one!
Skill Level: Beginner
Skills Used: Knitting in rounds, working with double pointed needles, knit, purl, decreases.
Yarn: Urth Uneek Worsted, or approximately 175 yards of any worsted weight yarn
Needles: US 6 and US 7
Gauge: 5 sts and 7 rows to one inch stockinette stitch circular gauge
Stitch markers
