Barry Klein taught a class on Shadow Knitting and teased us with the concept of the hearts cowl.  He was kind enough to share his chart and we finished the pattern.  This is such easy knitting - just knits and purls!  The pattern is both charted and written.

The pattern calls for Cardiff Cashmere but we also love Lana Grossa's Cashmere Fine 16 for this pattern - you would need only one of each color for the cowl.

Materials:
2 skeins Cardiff Cashmere “Cardiff Classic” (100% Cashmere 112m 25g), colorm 518 (Grey) MC
1 skein Cardiff Cashmere “Cardiff Classic” (100% Cashmere 112m 25g), colorm 605 (Tourquoise) CC1
1 skein Cardiff Cashmere “Cardiff Classic” (100% Cashmere 112m 25g), colorm 564 (Red) CC2
Size US 7/4.5mm knitting needles
Yarn needle or large embroidery needle
Crochet Hook and waste yarn for provisional cast on

Gauge: 5.5 stitches and 7 rows in one inch, stockinette stitch, circular gauge
